So, it’s officially a new year and the Christmas season is unfortunately over. But the New Year is upon us and that calls for new goals and resolutions to be set around the office! As a successful Laravel web agency Guildford, we here at Thunderbolt Digital are always looking to improve and grow as a company within the office environment. Read on to find out how we’re going into 2018 with these resolutions!
1. Step Out of Our Comfort Zone
As a Laravel web agency Guildford, we are constantly looking for new and fresh marketing techniques and captivating web designs. If it doesn’t make us excited and a little anxious to try it, we’re not doing it! 2018 is the year of “go bold or go home”. In November 2017, the Thunderbolt team went to High Ashurst Activity Centre and completed many team building activities and took a leap of faith at the end of our day. We learnt how to step out of our comfort zones and take the plunge, figuratively and literally, and we will be applying this mentality to our new year!
2. Celebrating the Little Things
As a successful marketing, web design, and Laravel web agency Guildford, we often go from one project to the next without too much time in between. So this year, we’re celebrating the little victories; when a website goes live, when a marketing campaign succeeds, or when a co-worker makes your coffee just how you like it. It’s important to sometimes take a step back and give yourself a pat on the back for overcoming your everyday challenges!
3. Focus on Video
Video content is constantly proving its worth more and more every year, in fact, YouTube has more viewers than Facebook and Twitter combined! Videos are a great way to grab a viewer’s attention and deliver key information in an interesting and engaging way. The trick is to not make the video too long though, as in today’s fast-paced scrolling world, audiences often skip out on content that takes up too much of their time. Keeping the video short with informative content and presented in an intriguing format is the key to driving new traffic on websites and/or social media platforms.
