The Brief

Tindle needed a professional and functional site, incorporating modernity with their own unique and established brand image.

We decided to re-order the content throughout the whole site, improving the user experience for Tindle customers.

Tindle Newspapers Ltd Managing Director Scott Wood wanted to make sure it was easy for visitors to find what they were looking for, and to add a new content managed area within the site to allow for promotions, new product launches, announcements and more.

The Build

The Thunderbolt team started with a more in-depth scoping discussion in order to fully understand the nuances of the brief and explore some ideas for the project. This stage is a very important part of the whole journey, as it informs all aspects of the project moving forward.

After this, we felt confident to progress to the design phase, capturing the look and feel of the site as well as how users would interact with the new site in line with the key objectives.

We designed and built the site for a more varied range of devices – ensuring it was responsive across all major devices and browsers.

The homepage design incorporated Tindle’s brand colours of deep blue and orange, additionally blending images and text to create a seamless, engaging page experience.

The Results

After the website went live, we caught up with Tindle to discuss the outcomes. Tindle was incredibly pleased with the project, and they shared the following feedback from one internal colleague; “Just had a quick flick through some of the pages. What a difference !! Looks very professional, clear and informative….Well done”
