What Koko Needed
Koko needed a sleek yet quirky website design that would effectively describe their services and approach; while looking good no matter what device it was being accessed through. It had to reflect their artistic credentials and host a variety of downloadable guides.
What We Came Up With
Our design idea was elegant in its simplicity, although also featuring creative features that would echo Koko’s artistic approach to their work. The parallax design allows for smooth navigation, with a menu that remains at the top of the screen even during scrolling. Aesthetically pleasing icons ensure that the website design is personal to Koko and maintains a sense of fun. The image sliders are designed to resemble a growing pile of polaroids; which are eye catching in their retro look and set the website aside from competitors. The “useful stuff” page allows visitors to instantly download PDFs full of useful hints and tips for businesses wishing to enhance their online presence. The overall design of the website means that the logos and menus automatically readjust to fit the screen being used to access the site – whether it’s a large screen computer or smaller smartphone. By using the popular WordPress content management system we were able to hand over content control to Koko after the completion of the project.
